Placing A Shape On A Plane

Hey all..

So here is my question for the brave and honorable members of this forum: In rhino I draw a 2d drawing of a closed shape. Is there a way to 'place' this shape on a series of planes (without going through the cumbersome process of recreating it parametrically)?

Or failing that, what is the best way to draw non regular shapes (not a square, circle, etc...) on a series of planes parametrically within grasshopper?
