Can you tell us more about your definition? are you displaying a large or complex model? or relying on any special 3rd party GHAs that do custom display preview?

It's complex yes (EDIT: Not as complex as some stuff I see here, but still)... I used the "Advanced Custom Preview" ... That's a component from Florian Frank (Fabtools) ... And then I didn't get the error anymore ...

EDIT: It seems to be something big this about pipelines

Hi Ahmed,

This component is not part of the FabTools because it's very quickly done and i've just posted the script some time ago, because someone needed it. It doesn't check for invalid geometry, that will cause this error.

You shouldn't worry about this error in the command prompt. Check to see if you got no null items in your List/Datatree of geometry, that you're going to display. Use the Clean Tree component to clean all your data from invalid entries.

If this doesn't work. Post the files here and i'll make it work again.

Best,

FF

Ahhhh sorry ... You're right :) ...

Thank you very much Florian ... It's working now ok ...

I have tooooooooooo many trees and lists and what do I know!!!! :D ...

EDIT:

It was about this:

Your Custom Preview Component makes the job right ... The one from grasshopper doesn't!

Hi Ahmed,

hehe it's not your fault. I' should have added some lines to check for validity. I'm working on a much more enhanced version and will ad it to the next update of the FabTools.

Have a nice day

FF

I'm looking forward to this tool of yours ... keep the good work! :)

Have a nice day back!
