Perforation on Surface - how to randomize perforations and alter shapes

Hello, I am new to Grasshopper and the Grasshopper3D forum. I have been doing a lot of research on here and am looking forward to learning more about the capabilities of the program. I have two enquiries I am hoping the forum can help me out with! Much appreciated in advance.

I have created a surface that is intended to be a walkway path with perforated holes on it that will serve as pot lights. I used an attraction curve so the lights are smaller as they get closer to the edge of the path (see image). My question that I am hoping someone can help me with is:

1. I would like to scatter the pot lights more randomly throughout the path. Currently they are following the lines/curves of the path.

2. Is there a way I can change the shape of the perforation? To a custom shape?
