Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I've got 2 paths of 7 curves. I offset. But I can't get same path structure out of offset. See image. Advice?

I've tried messing with the path structure of the input D, but to no avail. I'm not that well-versed in path logic yet. Tried doing offset from within VB, where I could control path output, but couldn't find any offset function to the curve, which leads to another question. Is there any way to call Grasshopper components from VB?

Thanks much,
Chris

try flatten the tree one step down: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/flattening-a-specific-lay...

then you can use simplify tree or something like that to match the tree path structure...
Manuel,

This worked fine for my issue!

Hey, BTW, how are people inserting images in posts? I'm only offered an attach file option.

On the formating options above the reply box there is a camera icon click this and Robert's your father's brother.
Oh. Duh. Thanks Danny.

I had to google the Bob's your Uncle thing... And now I'm that much smarter. And I do have an uncle Robert, coincidentally.

Here's me right now:

Sorry Cultural Divide, I probably should have said ...and there you have it.
