Hi everyone 

I  am looking for a way in grasshopper to convert population data into a 3d volume format to express a trend of urban growth .

for instance if i have certain population to fit in a certain ground footprint but i can go vertically, how could establish this relationship in grasshopper ?

You can extrude your area footprint until you reach the desired height.
