Parametric Structure

Hi guys! 

I 'm new in grasshopper and I would like to ask you some informations for my new project.

Within my colleagues I'm projecting a pavilion. First is required to design a component, a unit basically jointed with herself that with complexity and variation will form the aggregation of the strutture.

We have already designed the unit and it's connected with some joints female/male that can produce a branched structure similar to a complex network system.

The request is: How can I make the units oriented in all the variations of joints and joining each other, following some splines?
