Pairing set of curves to another set of curves

Dear GH community,

I wish to pair two lines, the beam line (red) and vector line (green). Currently the supposedly paired lines doesn't share the same path number and far way don't match. I want to achieve what is in below image. I hope somebody can figure it out for me and I will be in gratitude.

Thanks and regards,

Homar

Hi Homar, here you have it.

But you have more vector lines that beam lines, so I split the vector lines list. I hope you serve.

It perfectly serves my purpose!!! Thank you Daniel.

Hello Homar,

Here is my method.

Unlike Daniel, I have the same number of vectors and beams.

Yes Friou. Your solution is also great. Thanks.

hi,

how about "Curve Nearest Object" component.

Yours is the most compact definition. Thanks.

Less components but more time of execution, surely because this method use a algorithm to get the closest points of the curves, instead my method use the center point, wich in this case could be used.

Correct Daniel, your definition is faster and I will be using it for my work. This is just one set of line pairing and I need to pair more so I need your efficient definition.

Thanks again.
