algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am trying to generate a script with which I can create origami patterns based on specific lines that i draw in Rhino. I found an origami component for Kangaroo that allowed me to create a very basic tessellation origami, but i want to go further. I want to have an uneven pattern and at some points arches instead of normal sharp angle folds (I thought maybe try dividing surface into triangles and create forces between them so i can use hinge?). I am also trying to have anchor springs like in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZXQj86JKrA), which I attempted to do, but seems like it's not working right (though it's my secondary concern).

In the attached file there are two scripts. One uses origami pattern component and internalised lines from rhino for folds. It seems to work, but still folds in a slightly weird way. The other one is with the exploded origami pattern (it's a cluster), but does not work.

I am a beginner and would appreciate any sort of help!!!! Thank you!
