ORIENT PATTERN ON CURVED SURFACE

Hello to everybody,

I need to create a small shading facade that runs in front of an existing historic building.

I'd like to use a pattern to build the structure.

I found a voronoy definition on enkolab.com that would be perfect to make the pattern of this facade.

The definition works well on a simple surface like this:

but if I try to apply it to the surface I created the pattern seems not to follow the surface direction .

I replaced the surface with the same type (edgesrf).

I also tried to rotate it to a vertical plane but I don't find the solution.

The voronoy i'ts just a starting point, but i'd like to comprehend how we can orient a pattern on a ribbon-like surface that changes direction as the one i'm trying to do.

I will really appreciate any idea on how to proceed.
