Order of lofting curves rotated about an axis

I have created an egg shape curve and am trying to make it into an egg by rotating the shape x amount of times about the central axis and then lofting those curves. When I go to loft the curves they don't loft in the order I want them to to create a smooth egg shape. I think the problem is to do with data tree management, but I am not sure how to solve it.
