octopus one solution

I tried doing a simplified version of example 4 from the octopus examples  in order to see how octopus settings work.When I run octopus , I get multiple solutions overlapped in Rhino viewport at  the same time, but I want only one solution displayed at a time. I deactivated the history button. Can anyone help? Thanks
