Not (completely) new to scripting, new to VB

Hi,

Since python for GH/Rhino seems to be very far away I think that I should stop systematically procrastinating about learning scripting in GH. From what I could understand, VB is supposed to be a easier path than C#, so I decided to start learning VB.

I was reading somewhere and looks like not all the aspects of VB are useful for GH scripting, could someone please point to me the areas that I should really learn about VB? In this way I hope to be more focused on learning stuff that I'm going to need, at least for now.
