new to grasshopper, a little bit of help please

hi all,

new to grasshopper. was wondering if anyone can help.

have tried manipulating the staircase script from the website but no luck, but im trying to make stairs follow a curve in my design.

also secondly i was wondering if anyone new how to replace lines with objects that i have assigned in grasshopper.

any advise would be much appreciated.

You should probably post a file that explains what it is you're doing. It's sort of difficult to see your screen from all the way over here.

When you replace these lines, do you care about rotation around the axis parallel to the lines?

i am doing a series of stairs some curves, some jagged. im not sure what limitations i might have for the stairs, but i have attached an example of the kind of curve that i am ideally looking to create the stairs with. im looking to have the stairs offset inwards or outwards from the curve, as oppose to having the curve as a central spine to the stairs.

would be great to know your thoughts.
