Does any body know how this system can be achieved in Grasshopper? I really need it!

Hi,

This is actually a Grasshopper project. It receives light intensity values from the light sensor on the breadboard right there, then parses then from the Arduino into gh via Andy Payne's Firefly. The Arduino code is fairly simple, some basic electronics needed here, but not something extreme.

Get the values into GH, remap them into your definition and you are done. The arduino has a default example for receiving values, get started with that. I also suggest to get into Andy's example files and tutorials, accompanying the firefly add-on.

Thank you so much. I was wondering if you know how the definition in the video works? I think ill do the definition first. I am new to grasshopper.

Please help

I suspect it is lofted triangular panels. The midpoint of each edge moves towards the centroid of the triangle according to the input value from the lightsensor.. A new interpolated curve is created with the provided midpoints. That is of course my guess! I believe the creator of the video is a member of the forum, therefore you might want to address your inquiries to him directly!

Thanks, but i could not find the creator in the forum... Is this possible to apply to any surface in rhino?
