algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I'm having issues with a multipoint attractor using a graphmapper to control the attractor trough out a triangular grid.  I made two different scripts with close, but not-quite expected results.

1. Triangular Grid with offsets:  I would like the offsetting of these triangles to be affected by the attractor points.  My results so far really don't resemble the objective.  As you can see from the images below, I made a GH file generated a polygon that was tied to the attractor field.

2.  Triangular grid with a scale modifier:  Although the results look closer to what I want, there is less control on the attraction over the grid.

Any help with these?  Many thanks

hi. i have added some more components to it and added limits to the scale of the triangulation grid.

Many thanks Manu! It worked great!

Hey Manu!

I wanted to know if you could help me designing a reticulated slab using triangules (more like a Mesh). The idea was to play with attractor points (that I have specifically located in the roof of my project) that could densify the Triangular Grid as we approach to those points leaving bigger triangules far from those points. Those points are related to one of the extremes of my columns so I needed a more dense grid in there . I am sending you a picture with my idea. If you know about any specific tutorial that can help me with it,  could you please send it to me? Thank you very much!

Hi,

Just wondering if you had a suggestion for switching the attractor points to a curve for script murakami3?

Help would be much appreciated!
