Need Help! Sweep along curve

Hi Ladies and gentlemen my fellow boys and girls, i need some help!

How do i make this U shaped pattern sweep along the curve and if better change from a larger scale to a smaller scale as it reach the top. Ive achieved this but with copy and paste in rhino but surely there's a better way with grasshopper?
