Naked vertices

Hi guys, 

I have a grid which is inside a curve, I also have all the points as a list. I want to find a way to select only the naked vertices meaning those which are surrounded strictly less than 9 points. Is there a set of components or a algorithm that we can implement in a component to help us do that?
