algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi guys,
I'm still really new to Grasshopper, but am trying to complete what I hope is a simple (ish!) task.
I am attempting to create a kind of 'melted disco ball' form, and want to morph or 'flow' mirror tiles along a premade surface to simulate how this would look. I have been able to morph the tiles to the surfaces that I have created but they are distorted to obviously flow along the surface as best as possible.
Is there a way to have the tiles maintain their form (kind of like the 'rigid' setting in Rhino's FlowAlongSrf) so that I can show how mirror tiles would be attached to the form I am creating? I have attached a screenshot to hopefully give some clarity.
