Hi All,
I am trying to use GH to cut lots of little holes in a mesh form. My particular mesh was generated by the Rhino Membrane free trial, so I can't cut the holes earlier in the workflow because that would increase the complexity beyond the limits of the Rhino Membrane free trail. For purposes of my question, any mesh will do, so please see the attached file. Place a point in Rhino, and associate it with the Pt on the left of the canvas. You should get a mesh sphere and a bunch of mesh pipes oriented based on a SphericalCloud.
If GH had MeshSplit, I could use that to create a hole where each pipe passes through the mesh sphere. It doesn't exist, though, does it? Is there some other way I can cut the holes? I suppose I could Bake the pipes and just do it manually in Rhino, but I would like to play around with diameters, hole distribution, etc. before making a final decision.
Thanks very much!
Cheers,
-Karen
