mesh occlusion - self occluding meshes

Hi,

Im using the attached to test daylight hours on meshes I export from revit. and am having a couple of issues. I am pretty sure there are other out of the box ways of doing, howver I would like to get this sorted.

1. there seems to be some edge bleeding of the colour component on the edges.

2. I would also like the filter out the surfaces which are co-incident, I.e. effectively self occluding.
