algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I would like to apply a data shift operation on a tree that contains branches with different path lengths.
The solution presented here is really not elegant and works only for those specified exceptions. I wondered if there was a better and more efficient way to do it.

I tried also the tree sloth version of shift path but it unfortunately doesn't keep the hierarchy of the other paths that don't need to be shifted.
Same with the native component Trim Tree...

Any hints on this one?

Best,

Paul

Would this work for you?

It's basically masking the file paths..

Hi Jeroen,
Thank you for the reply but it actually doesn't work for the case I am dealing with (picture attached).
I also attached the definition.

Maybe this would work?

That helped, thanks a lot!
