Merge curves

Hello everyone! 

I am trying to duplicate two squares and put them side by side and then delete the edge that is common to both of those square but i don't really find a way to do this. 

Can someone please help to understand how to do this please?

Hi.

"Region Union" component exists for such a task.(Intersect-->Shape-->Region Union)
