Mapping point on curve to respond to force reaction in kangaroo

Hello world!  I am having a bit of an issue with this situation.  I have included a picture of a physical model, in which I am trying to create an equilibrium model which is balanced by cable stays and masts;  It is a mock up of a pavilion.  I have tried using anchor springs to help the point respond to the force exerted on the mast member but it isn't working quite the way that I want it to.  Also, I am extremely amateur at this software, so I am sorry that it isn't completely put together.  I will be working on it and will be posting a revised file to the post to help better understand the problem.  I am using Kangaroo .999.  Thanks so much in advance for even looking at it!
