Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello All!

I am new and just picked up RHINO and GH this semester at school. I really enjoy using grasshopper, I wish I was better at it!

For our current project, I am creating a louver system for a skylight that will hang from the ceiling. I would like to manipulate the shape so that it mimics a wave instead of a box, to diffuse light more in certain areas.

I can create the shape I want (curves, then loft) in RHINO, reference in to GH the brep, create perpendicular planes and then influence those planes. However, I cannot influence the shape anymore, since it is static in RHINO.

I would like to reference a "boundary box" in RHINO, and then find points and add sliders so that I can make the top left side wider and the bottom right side thinner louvers. (or manipulate the wave shape, however works best with light coming in). Without having to draw a different shape for each solution, I can just change it within grasshopper.

Any help is greatly appreciated, as I am completely lost.
