Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have searched a lot for this and I dont know if it is possible

I want to make a couple of objects defined in grasshopper into a block and then move it all around ,and then when I bake them they are still instances of each other ,

I have tried the HUMAN plugin but it can only act on a block already defined in rhino and I want to define the block in grasshopper and operate on it

Thanks in advance

Would you mind sharing your files? I'm curious as to what exactly you mean by "block" and the transformation that will be applied to it...

Its not a specific file , thats a general question, actually what I want eventually is to be able to export to sketchup and have instances of the same objects act as components in sketchup

I think you'll have to do this semi manually...

There's a variety of different container you could use (the [geometry] component for example) but once you bake and export to sketchup, I don't believe you can set them all as the same instances. The closest would be to bake similar items onto their own specific layer, and then in sketchup create these components manually.
