algorithmic modeling for Rhino

dear all,

i've always run into trouble with make 2d running out of memory.. i've tried increasing the memory in both Rhino and Windows virtual memory, but these don't seem to help. is there a way to help this?

thank you -- ognek

Is this a Grasshopper problem?

If Rhino starts to eat more than 2GB of memory in Windows 32 bit, it will crash. If you need more than 2GB of memory to finish a task, you should switch to Windows (and Rhino) 64bit. This is quite an expensive proposition of course, so perhaps it's worthwhile to investigate why Make2D needs so much memory. How many shapes are you feeding it? Are they complex shapes etc...

If this is not a Grasshopper topic, you're probably better off on the Rhino newsgroup, since there are more people there who are knowledgeable about this.
