algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I am working on a regular ellipse tower model, what I amd trying to achieve is to use the raising spiral line along the tower, with dividing points on the spirals to control which windows are project out or sunken in, then which could be indicate the balcony location. Then the tower facade could acheive a series of bancony and windows varation conditions, which appears like the raising spirals fins...
I could general the rising spiral line with the dividing points, generating the tower window wall facades with a curve with division points->loft between mullions to creat the straigt window panel between vertical mullions.
The problem I facing is the whole floor window surface after loft is a whole piece, not be able to be seperate as pieces and sign IDs for them, and how to sign IDs for them?
Also I could not find way to use the point on the spiral line to relate or index out the window panels from the tower, to project them individually out or sunken in,
I would also like to make a several continous windows to be projected or sunken in, which also coudn't achieved.
I am looking for help. Do you have ways to solve it?
