Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear all, in my lack of expertise in grasshopper I don’t know how to make this work. Hope someone can help me.

Here is the problem: I don’t know why the loft between the two curves you can see in the attached files (one curve is the offset of the source one) gets tangled when the offset distance is negative. Thanks in advance.

Ps: Also attached the grasshopper definition and rhino file.

The problem is that the start of the base curve in one of the edges. When the offset is done line segments are added to fill the gaps but the start point of the new curve is left on the same place instead of on the new edge of the new curve.

A fast way to fix this is to move the start point of the base curve to the middle of one of the line segments. To do this run the _crvseam command and drag the start point to the middle of a segment.
Thank you Vicente, it works great!!!! Do you know how I could adjust the seams in Grasshopper since the base curve is made by a set of points? I know there is an option in the loft option component, but I haven't get it to work yet.
Thanks,
I.
