Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

1)I was wondering what are all the way I can link an image in grasshopper's canvas, if I want to visualize a single image in the canvas I usually use the immage gallery node, is there a batter way?

2)Can I link one Rhino specific view in grasshopper's canvas without saving a screenshot externally?

3)Can I internalize an image data in grasshopper to avoid the problem of links loss when I move the file from one computer to another? or maybe can i give relative path or no path at all like in autocad?

1. You mean put an image as a wallpaper? or put an image that can be moved over the canvas?

2. I think not. I've tried, the main problem is that the Rhino viewport can not be resize internally once created, so can not be linked to zoom of the canvas. There was another big problem, but I do not remember. You have this if it's worth.
3. It should be able to do, but I can not help you with this. I also want to learn how :P.

1)I mean to insert a movable image , sometime i saw people in this forum linking screenshot of the canvas with a big angoled frame containing a snapshot of the rhino workspace, and I don't understand if it's made with external software or it´s a rhino feature

2)thanks for the link I'm going to check it

3)we'll wait for someone else response :)

1) Gh Filebar: File> Export Quick Image > Viewport Frame.

Thanks!
