ladybug bounce from surface + radiation analysis ?

i started working with bfs and ra in tandem. i had the sun bouncing from some louvers and providing radiation analysis on the surfaces of the interior (i think this was working). after changing some things to provide a usable context/data i can't get this to work again.

before i bark up the wrong tree, should these components work in tandem?
