algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Why the same definition (out-of-the-box example) works with shape 1 but not with shape 2? What am I missing. They are the same mesh, just scaled...

This might be to do with the strength values.

I do not fully understand how to know what values to use for strength or how to pick values that would represent real world scenarios so i usually just play with those values and hope I get a sensible result!

Thanks, but values are unchanged, just the mesh is slightly distorted.

Daniel Piker is probably the best man to help here

I think because you scaled the mesh, you will need different strength values to make it work.

You now have mesh faces that are short and wide. I think this model works best when the mesh edges are close to equal length.
