Kangaroo 2 - Bending to specific positions - Anchorpoints

Hi,

does anyone know how to avoid the kink within the bending curves?

I want to simulate bending curves to a specific position or even a bundling.

I guess somehow the anchor points are messing it up...

Thanks,

Bastian

Hi Bastian,

In the Angle goal in K2, if no RestAngle input is supplied, it defaults to the initial angle - which in this case is kinked. This is different from how it was in K1, where the default was zero. Now you need to actually set an input value of zero to make the rest state straight when the initial state is not.

Similarly for the Length goal - when the RestLength input is left empty, it defaults to the initial length, not zero as it used to before.
