Joining multiple surfaces

hi 

I am having trouble joining the surfaces I have modelled of 8 individual spikes which are dependant on the geometry of the central core surface.

what I need to be able to do is to unroll the central surface into 1 pieces with construction tabs to be cut out along with the 8 spikes.

I am unsure how to do this.  I have attached the files below

Check attached. You'll need TTToolbox plug-in's "Unfold" component.
