Issue when creating rhombus shape by connecting points on the curved surface

Hi All,

I came across little issue when playing with my script. I am aggregating hyperbolic paraboloid shapes in to 2 options depending on the curvature of the surface. Everything worked fine with ellipses, but now I would like to have rhombus/diamonds shapes. It seems I cannot connect points which I offseted from rectangle corner points ( please see png file where I drew the desired connection A -B -C -D).

When I try to connect surface and set U value as 2 it connects opposite points rather than the ones I would like to.

Can anyone please explain why is it happening?

best,

Nat

Yes, Thank you Hyungsoo Kim!! I will just need to rotate them by 45 degrees on the surface to achieve my result!

Do you know the best way to extrude or create panels out of these shapes without overloading gh?

Best!
