algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi , i am a newbie.can someone help me with this problem-I am trying to divide a planar rectangular surface into sub-surfaces.. data input is rec surface from rhino .however there is an offset in final surface. wht could be the reason for this?

My guess would be that the original surface is trimmed. What you see when you extract surface sub-domains is the disappearance of these trims, giving you back the original (somewhat larger) surface.

You can test this by running the Rhino Untrim command or using the Grasshopper Untrim component.

How to fix this? How to get a original srf to match the trimmed one?

In case of planar surface, this definition works as if rhino's "shrink trimmed surface" command.
