Isocurve on surface problem.

Hi! I've faced with problem of creating isocurves on surface. I need to create an vertical isocuves in places of intersection of some lines and surface around them. But as you can see i've got a branch of horizontal ellipses and no one is in the point of intersection. Please can you help me cause i can't understand where is my mistake in such a simple task. Thank you!
