algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

Please forgive my ignorance, but I just came across a moving type-in dialogue box when I tried to press the left arrow key to change the value of the slider.. Is this a bug or a normal operation???? If yes what's its purpose in terms of effectiveness and

time management.

Cheers,

Marios

Hi Marios,

the text input box should only appear if you double-click on the slider area. Are you saying you can consistently make it appear by selecting a slider and pressing an arrow key?

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply. No I am not saying that! It's just that when I double-clicked on the slider I noticed that I can move the white dialogue box all over the place with my keyboard's arrow keys. Again, I am not sure whether I missed this behaviour in the previous releases or that it is actually a bug...

happens if you scroll as well.

so its not a bug then?

The textbox isn't moving, it's the canvas that is panning when you use the arrow keys. Technically it's a bug as the arrow keys should be changing the caret location within the textbox.

Yes, that's what I thought. Thanks for clarifying that..
