Is it possible to have a plane surface that display a figure it is going through?

Hey guys

I was wondering if it is possible to have a surface that can show the object it is cutting?

For instance if you have a cone or a number of boxes and you use the Plane though Shape (PxS) or another component in grasshopper, that goes through the object can the plane then show the circle getting smaller the higher you move it on the y-axis, if it is cutting a cone?
