Is it possible to control the shape of a bounding box?

Is it possible for me to control the shape of a bounding box or replicate the functionality of a bounding box through different commands? I have a pattern that I need to "crop" using various shapes.

I'm trying to create this dragonfly wing texture and I'm on the right track but I need to box off and repeat the texture in larger forms.

There are several components that create boxes. One of those surely does what you need?

It isn't a box shape I want though, it's an irregular shape. I want to create my own closed shape using curves and use that as a box for cropping my patterns.

EDIT: I can't really make out what's going on in Grasshopper in this pic but this is the kind of thing I'm going for. I need to combine several Voroni patterned in shapes to create a larger texture. They created a leaf, I'm trying to create a dragonfly wing but it's the same concept.

Much as I loathe to recommend a Voronoi component, have you tried [Voronoi Groups]? It was made pretty much exactly for this sort of thing.
