is anyone else having difficulties when writing messages on this forum?

Hi!

thing is, this window in which i write a new post only lets me modify the end of it, and i can only delete using backspace.If i want to deleta a sentence i wrote somewhere in the middle of the text, i literally have to backspace my way to it. not fun..

same is valid if i want to add something in the middle of the text.

i am using firefox 3.6 on win xp

Nope, using Chrome and everything is just fine. The only problem I have is editing an existing post, the html tags are not properly transscribed which is annoying when the original post contained non-breaking spaces or forbidden characters.

I'm actually rather surprised we're still lacking a decent wysiwyg editor on webpages... it's 2010 for heavens sake.

yes, only on this website.

i updated to a slightly newer version of firefox and i thought everything went fine, because when i tried to write a reply, and i could edit the text normally. I also tried editing the initial post and it worked as it should. then i thought i should check if i can write a new topic without any problems, but it started behaving like before. then when i tried editing the initial post of this thread, it also made problems. closed the window and opened the link again, now i can write normally again..
i can't really find a pattern in this behavior, the only thing certain is that the line at the end of the text is missing when it behaves wicked.
