Interlocking Joins Help Needded

Hi everyone,

I am new to grasshopper and I am still trying to get to grips with it. I am trying to create a joint which interlocks between 3 beams. the Idea is that the beams would essentially extend past one another and then are trimmed all together creating a profile which is grooved making them self supporting. The profiles of each beam would then be arranged out for laser cutting to be built.

I have attached my models and and image of what I am trying to achieve as I probably haven't explained it well. Im not really sure where to start.

Any help at all would be really appreciated.

does anyone know of a definition for 3 interlocking elements?

I have updated the definition however I am still struggling I cant seem to get a clean cut or the joins to interlock. Struggling! is what has anyone seen this before?
