algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Dear GH users, fans and developers, I would like to ask your advice about my interactive facade definition. It is based on the simple calculations of the distance between the points of the grid, closest to the curve. (GH definition and Rhino model are attached)
Points represent people who enter the surface on the square in front of the shopping center. I take them as a source for 'interpolate curve' component. Is there a way to tell GH to take as many possible points without defining them each time manually? I don't have much experience with scripting, but I guess this would be the only way to simulate the real situation of people entering the surface or passing by... I tried just to take them as points, but it does not show the distinctive "path" of curve connecting people on the square.
Are there also some suggestions for how to make the calculation more lightweight, so that I could show in the video how the surface reacts to the movement of points?
Apart from that any comments of suggestions are welcome!
