All plugins /should/ load fine until the saving limit has been reached. Saving Grasshopper files is a separate process and will not count towards the 25-limit.
Grasshopper is (so far) free and has no limitations whatsoever, apart from programming bugs.

So extending your reply, I take then that once the 25-limit is reached then grasshopper will no longer load up.
I think you can still open Rhino and therefore GH but you will no longer be able to save 3dm files or, and this is crucial, rendered images. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong on the rendered images)
That is true, no 'special' plugins will load after the trial has expired.
We needed to do this as it is in fact laughably easy to make a plugin that saves the rhino file, thus allowing people a very easy (and very legal) way to beat the trial.

Hi It is just that I am shortly going to China to teach at a University there for a week and want to introduce Rhino and Grasshopper. Currently all they have is the evaluation copy so I had better warn them not to use too many 'saves' before I get there.
We do have time limited evals now as well. You should contact Scott Davidson ( scottd@mcneel.com ) in Seattle, he might be able to set you up with a 30-day trial instead.
