Inquiry about Sorting by history

I am working on a geological project, which associate with my geo data information.

Now I have an excel table recording some of the point location and the soil beneath that point, but the location is described as " XX street and XX street." So I have to manually located these point by hand with areal photo as the base map frame

The problem is that how can I sort these point in GH by built history? Then I can match them up with the table excel table to read the soil information of each point.
