Incremental array grid with control points

Hi there,

I have created this rhombus grid which size is being controlled by this larger curve which acts as a control point. What I need to do next and I cannot get my head around, is how to control the distance between the points on the grid in such a way that the distance between them incrementally increases, not only their size.

Do I need to create a different grid? Use the array tool?

I am attaching relevant images of the script in grasshopper, the result in rhino and a sketch of the idyllic grid.

It is for the design of a vase that we are working on in the office.

I am new to grasshopper as well, so any kind of help will be very much appreciated.
