algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

I currently have a basic image sampler script, the original image is a coloured Australian note and I want to know if its possible to define the colours on the pattern that I have created following the existing colours on the note?

If this is not possible is there a way that I can colour the pattern based on the image at all? I've found a few things on forums and online but I haven't had any success.

Thanks

I tried opening your file and it didn't open properly for some reason.

What you should remember with the image sampler is, that its best to provide it with values in the range 0 to 1. So best you make a surface and reparametricise, divide the surface and use those points. That way it will work without needing to edit the image sampler and will work with images of all sizes.

Once you got that, you can easily use the colors to do more stuff with it. You can plug it into the diffuse color of a create material component which plugs into custom preview together with the geometry. Instead of colouring curves, you can turn them into small round surfaces and color those.
