Hyperlinks directly to objects

Hi together,

I am wondering if it is possible to give objects some hyperlinks to webpages, excelfiles etc., and directly in grasshopper. There is a possibility in Rhino to give objects a hyperlink but not in grasshopper.

Maybe someone has an idea how to script it.

I have developed in Grasshopper a 3D diagramm with single spheres/ball in it which receives there position and diameter directly from Excel.

If I click on a ball, I want to have the posibilty to open an separate Excelfile or a webpage (which includes more information of whatever). It should work a little like a 3d User Interface.

I wasn't sure whether you wanted urls associated with Grasshopper components or Grasshopper geometry. It is not possible to add any kind of additional information (layer, name, linetype, grouping, urls, user-data etc. etc.) to any Grasshopper shape. Grasshopper geometry doesn't have any attributes, it is just pure shape. You'll also have noticed that you cannot in fact select a Grasshopper sphere in the Rhino viewport.
