how to unroll surface panels in grasshopper?

Hi all,

I've encountered a problem unrolling multiple surface in grasshoppers, see attached image.

What you see is only a structural part of the whole shell so doing it in rhino is quite time killer.

Different colors represents different panel type, so tree structure must be maintaned after unrolling to xy plane.

I forgot to tell, that the surfaces are not rectangles, there is a slight divergence in the sides

Here's one approach. This builds on Gwillym Jahn's improvement on my unrolling definition, adding the capacity to preserve the tree structure of the input surfaces. Try it out with your surfaces - if it doesn't work properly, upload the file containing the reference geometry and I can try to fine-tune it.
