How to measure distance between the hexagon center and edge

Hi GH community,

I'm making a perforated pattern as attached photo, the problem to solve is:

1: how to measure the distance between hexagon centers, I'm going to use that length divided by half as circle's radiu.(or, how to directly measure the apothem of hexagons) I want the size of circle changes with it changes of hexagon.

2. any method that is easier to achieve the goal is welcomed, as a green hand I'm not familiar with most of the component……
