How to make single curved panels along a freeform surface

Hi All,

been struggling trying to make the single curved along the a free-form surface(please see attached screenshot001).  I have already use paneling tool to make the double curved panels,(please see attached screenshot002) how do I change those panels into single curved one?  Or the logic of producing single curved surface will be totally different ?

Appreciate your help.

Cheers

In your particular case, I think you could use geodesic curves and Loft them together. That will give you single curved surfaces. this can be tested by seeing if they unroll in Rhino.

Thank you Kyle for the answer,  but in  your definition, there is only one row of panels inside, can we make it have several rows instead?

There are a number of ways you can divide the surfaces up. Here is one way

I see, that's help a lot. Thank you very much! Kyle
